Hallmark kicked off its 2026 holiday season on October 28 with a full lineup of cards, Keepsake Ornaments, Hallmark+ perks and in-person events. The headliner is Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, which premieres Saturday, November 28 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, with an exclusive extended cut streaming the next day on Hallmark+.
That extended cut is the newest detail in Hallmark’s announcement, and it is a good one for Hallmark+ subscribers. The rest reads like a checklist of everything we have been covering all year, so here is the full picture with our coverage linked along the way.
What Hallmark Has Planned for the 2026 Holidays
Countdown to Christmas. Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas has 34 original movies premiering every weekend, and you can find every date in our full 2026 Countdown to Christmas schedule. We are in week three now, with Who’s Coming for Christmas?, Adopting St. Nick and A Danish Christmas this weekend. I am reviewing every Countdown movie this season and teaching my husband to love Hallmark Christmas movies along the way.
Holiday Ever After and the Disney Springs pop-up. Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle star in Holiday Ever After, which was filmed at Walt Disney World. Hallmark’s limited-time Holiday Pop-Up has been open in Disney Springs’ Town Center since October 7, with products featured in and inspired by the movie, and no park ticket is needed. The Holiday Ever After collection is also sold at Disney Parks, select Hallmark Gold Crown stores and select Kohl’s and Walmart locations.
Hallmark Christmas Experience. The Hallmark Christmas Experience returns to Crown Center in Kansas City for four weekends starting November 27, with holiday workshops, seasonal activities and appearances by Hallmark stars. Jonathan Bennett hosts all four weekends.
Keepsake Ornaments. Hallmark says this year’s Keepsake lineup brings new characters, cultural favorites and milestone designs. Disney fans have plenty to choose from, from the Disney ornaments in the 2026 Dream Book to the Mickey and Minnie Jolly Gingerbread House ornament that arrived with Ornament Debut on October 10. Enrollment for the 2027 Keepsake Ornament Club opens November 4.
Cards, gifts and Hallmark+. Hallmark has thousands of holiday card designs for Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, including designs from its Mahogany and DaySpring collections. The holidays are the biggest card-sending season in the U.S., with about 1.3 billion cards sent each year, according to the Greeting Card Association. New gifts and décor are inspired by archival Hallmark designs, including tabletop pieces with sound and motion and vintage-style serving dishes. Hallmark+ pairs streaming with membership perks like next-day access to Hallmark premieres, monthly discounts and cards, and Crown Rewards members earn points on every purchase. You can browse the full Hallmark Christmas collection online.
Hallmark Chief Brand Officer Darren Abbott said the company hopes to “help families spend quality time together” this season.
Our Take
Hallmark’s holiday season does not start in October anymore. We covered the Dream Book in April. The Walt Disney World Cinderella Castle tree topper sold out at Gold Crown stores in July. Hallmark revealed its Disney Springs pop-up at D23 in August. By the time this announcement arrived, most of the season was already in motion, and fans who waited until now have already missed some of it.
What stands out most is how much of Hallmark’s holiday now happens in person. Between the Disney Springs pop-up, the Jingle Stop Tour stops at Gold Crown stores and the Christmas Experience in Kansas City, Hallmark is giving fans places to go, not just movies to watch. We were on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise this year, where Emilie Ullerup told the crowd about the Danish traditions she brought into A Danish Christmas, and we will be in Kansas City for Weekend 3 of the Christmas Experience in December. It is a little surprising that Hallmark’s own announcement leaves out the Jingle Stop Tour and the cruise, since those are two of the most fan-facing parts of the season.
For Central Florida fans, the Disney tie-in is the story. Holiday Ever After puts Walt Disney World on Hallmark Channel, and the pop-up puts Hallmark in Disney Springs, where anyone can walk in. The extended cut on Hallmark+ gives subscribers a reason to watch twice.
Here is my advice from one Keepsake Ornament Club member to another. If there is a Disney Keepsake you want, buy it when you see it, because the Cinderella Castle topper proved how fast those go. If you shop Premiere and Debut every year, the $49.99 club membership pays for itself with early in-store shopping. And if you are trying to keep up with all 34 Countdown movies, Hallmark+ gets you each premiere the next day.
