We got our first real look at the Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up coming to Disney Springs this weekend, straight from the source. Fantasy Land News was in the room for the Hallmark & Disney Magic: Our Creative Partnership panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where Hallmark shared new renderings, interior photos, and a firm opening window for the pop-up shop we first reported on last month.
A First Look Inside and Out – The exterior rendering shown at the panel confirms the shop will lean fully into the season, with a red and pink “Coming Soon” storefront announcing the Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up at Disney Springs. The window display features a poster for Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True alongside a Minnie Mouse wreath and plaid holiday packaging. Inside, renderings show a Mickey Mouse holiday vignette, a Holiday Ever After branded pajama set on display, and shelves of ornaments and gift items building on the merchandise collection Hallmark has been rolling out ahead of the premiere.
When It’s Opening, and How Long It’s Staying – Hallmark confirmed the pop-up opens in early October and will stay open at Disney Springs through the end of the year, meaning fans will have a window that runs well past the movie’s premiere to shop in person rather than just around launch week.
The History Behind the Partnership – The panel featured Stacey Howe (SVP, Licensing & Business Development), Samantha Stephens (Hallmark Historian & Archivist), Cece Merkle (VP, Creative Studios), Theresa McGeehan (VP, Category Strategy & Planning), Lindsay Evans (Studio Editorial Director), and Samantha DiPippo (SVP, Programming & Content Innovation). Much of the session traced the relationship between Hallmark founder J.C. Hall and Walt Disney, who reportedly leaned on each other as sounding boards for new ideas throughout their careers. Framed that way, the Disney Springs pop-up reads less like a one-off marketing tie-in and more like the latest chapter in a friendship between the two companies that goes back decades.
Save the Date for the Premiere – Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True still premieres November 28 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, with the film also landing on Hallmark+ the following day.
