Regal’s Dune: Part Three popcorn bucket is the Spacing Guild Navigator Popcorn Bucket, a tall, smooth copper bucket that comes with a large popcorn. Regal pairs it with a squeezable Sandworm Plush, a Dune Throw Blanket, a Sands of Arrakis Cup and a Collectible Combo, all at select theaters while supplies last. We have looked at this lineup very closely, and we are calling it what it is: the women’s set.
The men’s version: You remember 2024. The Dune: Part Two sandworm bucket went viral for looking like something you do not leave out when company comes over, and SNL wrote a whole song about it. This year, AMC has a bucket with two sandworms on the lid, which we’re calling the Man’s Set. Cinemark, Harkins, and Marcus have a copper bucket with a sandworm bursting out of the top. The guys are covered. Again.
The women’s set: Regal never called it that. We did. But look at what Regal is selling, and tell us we are wrong.
- Spacing Guild Navigator Popcorn Bucket: Tall. Smooth. Rounded at the top, with ridges running down the sides for a better grip. The popcorn comes out of a little door on the side, which is the only clue that this is a popcorn bucket. Regal did not say if it takes batteries. In Dune, Navigators can see the future. You do not need to see the future to know this one is not going in the kitchen cabinet.
- Sandworm Plush: Regal’s own words: “A cuddly Shai-Hulud companion.” It is soft, it is squeezable, and it stands up on its own. In Dune, you need a thumper to call a sandworm. This one shows up whenever you want it.
- Dune Throw Blanket: Regal says it will keep you cozy “on your journey to Arrakis.” Every good set needs something for after.
- Sands of Arrakis Cup: Filled with your drink of choice. On Arrakis, water is life. Stay hydrated, ladies.
- Collectible Combo: A regular popcorn tub and cup with desert art, filled with popcorn and soda. This is the one you show your mother-in-law.
The spice must flow: Warner Bros. and Regal have not said a word about any of this, and they do not need to. The internet will do the talking, just like it did in 2024. This time, Regal made sure the spice flows for everyone.
Our Take: While other theaters are selling the men’s version, Regal has the ladies covered for all their popping needs. Get the Navigator bucket and the plush together. Trust us, they are a set. If your significant other is dragging you back to the desert for the third time, here is your exit plan. Buy the bucket, get the extra butter, skip the movie and take it to the bedroom. Then put on a good Hallmark movie. The Countdown to Christmas lineup has 34 of them, so you will not run out before the sandworms do.
