AMC’s Dune: Part Three popcorn bucket is a double sandworm bucket, with two sandworms rising out of the lid and two mouths wide open. It is an AMC exclusive, along with a sandworm thumper cup and a Spacing Guild Navigator Cup, at AMC theaters while supplies last. Earlier today, we told you Regal’s Dune bucket is for the ladies. Now it is the guys’ turn.
The Duneussy is back: You remember 2024. AMC’s Dune: Part Two sandworm bucket came out, the internet took one look at that open mouth, and a new word was born. Duneussy. SNL wrote a whole song about it. AMC and ZINC. either missed every joke or heard every single one, because this year it doubled down.
What AMC is selling:
- Double sandworm bucket: Two sandworms rise out of the sand on the lid, side by side, mouths open. That is two holes, which makes this the first popcorn bucket built for two players. One for the front row, one for the back row. Don’t go at it alone. Bring a buddy. Flying solo? No judgment. Two holes means you get to pick, and some guys just like to get in the house through the back door.
- Sandworm thumper cup: A sandworm rises out of the lid, with a thumper sticking out the side. In Dune, the Fremen pound a thumper into the sand until the worm comes. AMC’s own video says, “It’s really thumping.” We did not write that. AMC did.
- Spacing Guild Navigator Cup: The same tall, smooth shape Regal turned into the women’s popcorn bucket. AMC made it a cup. So if you are going as a couple, AMC has something for both of you.
Size matters: AMC is also selling Dune: Part Three as “Filmed for IMAX.” Some things really are better bigger. If you are taking the double bucket to the biggest screen in the building, we respect the confidence.

Our take: The Regal set is still yours. Batteries not included; extra butter recommended. Regal gave the ladies a set. AMC gave the guys a bucket with two holes and a cup that thumps.
