A Mickey racing helmet popcorn bucket and a matching helmet cup launch Wednesday, October 28, 2026, as exclusives at every Vieshow Cinemas location in Taiwan. Each combo costs NT$599, about $18 in U.S. dollars, and comes with a medium popcorn and two large drinks. It is the newest Mickey design on our Disney popcorn buckets watch list.
Combo A comes with the bucket, a white full-face racing helmet with a red stripe, a red visor, Mickey ears and “MM28” on the side. Combo B swaps the bucket for a drink cup topped with a gold and black helmet, complete with ears, a clear visor and a Turbo Troop badge. The cup itself reads “Clutch 28 M.M. Racing League.”
There is no movie behind this one. Vieshow runs its own line of collectible concessions, and it has done Mickey buckets without a film before, including one for Mickey’s 90th anniversary. Look for the 28s. “MM28” on the bucket, “Clutch 28” on the cup and an October 28 launch all point back to 1928, the year Mickey made his debut in Steamboat Willie. Vieshow has not said whether that is on purpose.
As a Disney fan and a popcorn bucket collector, I think this is one to chase. There are no Formula 1 logos on it, but if you have been following the Disney and F1 connection since the two launched Fuel the Magic in 2025, this pair is a must. The partnership is still rolling, with The Pursuit, an F1 Academy documentary, coming to Disney+ on November 19. Taiwan is having a racing Mickey moment of its own, too, with 7-Eleven stores there selling more than 30 racing Mickey items this month.
Now the hard part. Vieshow sells these only in Taiwan, and pickup is limited to the theater where you bought them. The combo alone is sold at the counter, and online orders only come bundled with a movie ticket. Movie tickets are not included in the combo price. For U.S. collectors, that means a friend in Taiwan or a reseller. Set your price limit before you start shopping.
