The Music of EPCOT album is now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music as of Friday, October 23, 2026. The Walt Disney Records release packs 23 tracks and just over an hour of EPCOT music, from Horizons and World of Motion to Test Track and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and the 2LP vinyl is $32.99 at Disney Music Emporium.
Disney first sold the vinyl as a preorder at the Disney Music booth during D23 in August. Demand was strong enough to push shipping back, and Disney Music Emporium now lists the record set as shipping on or around October 21.
Look at the cover and you will see Spaceship Earth glowing at night. Now look at the track list. Not one of the 23 songs comes from the ride inside that ball.
The timing makes that sting. Disney confirmed at D23 that Spaceship Earth is getting reimagined, as we reported in our Spaceship Earth and Dreamfinder D23 announcement story. There is no closure date yet, but the version we ride today will not be around forever.
The current Spaceship Earth score belongs to Bruce Broughton, who recorded it with a 63-piece orchestra and a 24-voice choir. Broughton is on this album. He just isn’t here for Spaceship Earth. His track is Soarin’ Around the World.
Test Track did make the cut. “Opening” by Zain Effendi sits second on Disc 2, right after the EPCOT Suite. It is the same piece that earned Effendi a Grammy nomination, which we covered in our Test Track music Grammy nomination story.
If a friend asked me, I would say Disc 1 is the reason to own this. “Listen to the Land,” “New Horizons,” “It’s Fun to Be Free” and the Kitchen Kabaret medley are all here. Disc 2 is a good snapshot of EPCOT today, which is exactly why the missing Spaceship Earth music stands out. With that ride about to change, this was the album to save it on.
