Disney World’s My Experience App Dining Reservations Updated. Days ago, the Walt Disney World My Disney Experience app got a small improvement to the dining reservation system. It was quickly reversed and reverted, but now it looks like the change has fully taken effect and the update is here to stay this time. Disney has added a few enhancements to finding dining reservations, like a new slider bar for times, and to finding a location to eat at.

The normal process, for the past few months, when trying to book a dining reservation through the My Disney Experience App has been to select the amount of people, then choose a date (you could also select up to 10 days in a row), then you could choose between four options, All Day, Before 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and finally 4:00 PM till last reservation. So basically, All Day, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Once you went through these choices, all reservations for that timeframe would appear, and you would have to edit your selections to various Parks, Resorts, or Disney Springs.

This morning, the My Disney Experience App showed a change where Disney added a sliding time. So, gone were the four dining time selections and replaced with a slider from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Once you choose the number of people in your party, figure out the times, a new box would appear with all four Parks listed, and you could then click the Park and/or a Nearby Resort.
