New Muppets Artwork Graces Disney Skyliner for 70th Anniversary. Disney Parks are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of The Muppets with a new Disney Skyliner gondola artwork featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear and more. This is in addition to Disney Parks X The Muppets 70th Anniversary exclusive magnets that have been on sale for the past 38 weeks.
The new Disney Skyliner Muppets has The Muppets 70th Anniversary logo on the door side of the gondola, and depending on which direction you are going and facing, either Fozzy Bear, Miss Piggy, and Sam the Eagle are on the front, or Statler and Waldorf in their theater box seats face forward. Opposite the door on the outside is Kermit the Frog playing a banjo in the Muppets theater, and he has a rainbow over his head.
Whimsically Themed Gondolas – Travel in style in a themed gondola featuring magical Disney touches and details. Some of the gondolas are adorned with iconic Disney Characters, figures from Disney attractions, and film favorites.
If you are at Disneyland, who is also celebrating 70 years, you can catch The Muppets during World of Color Happiness!: Sing, shout and dance along to an all-new World of Color experience that explores happy during a fun-filled joyride.
But First… A Muppets Pre-Show – Just before World of Color Happiness! begins, watch as Kermit the Frog, Gonzo and other Muppets step into the spotlight to share safety announcements in a zany song-and-dance number projected across the expressive World of Color fountains.

Plus, the Disney Skyliner station at International Gateway at EPCOT is conveniently located just a short stroll away from Disney’s BoardWalk entertainment district, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Hours of Operation
- Disney Skyliner will be available each day, one hour before Early Theme Park Entry begins at EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney Skyliner will close each day 90 minutes after EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes
- On nights when EPCOT offers Extended Evening Hours, Disney Skyliner will close one hour after the park closes*
*During this time, Disney Skyliner will only offer transportation to Disney’s Riviera Resort from EPCOT International Gateway. The route that moves between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will be unavailable.
