Now, we do not often do Disney list articles; it feels like low-hanging fruit that is made for clicks only. But, when it comes to Walt Disney World and popcorn buckets, we feel slightly left out. Yes, we did get one of the best releases recently with the Prince Charming Carousel light-up popcorn bucket, and the Thumper Spring Bucket did come here. We are certainly missing out on some amazing buckets from Disney Parks around the world. Especially during the Star Wars May the 4th celebration.
So, without wasting too much of your time, here are some of the top popcorn buckets we need at Walt Disney World, and we need them now!
Since we mentioned Star Wars: May the 4th celebration at Disneyland, there is still a chance that either one of these two (or both) may show up here at Disney World. Our first wish list of buckets is:
Death Star Bucket and Tauntaun Popcorn Buckets –
Both of these buckets have been released as part of the Seasons of the Force celebration, and a third bucket the Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet bucket, will be released on May the 4th, 2025, at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland. We would guess that it is the one we would see in Disney’s Hollywood Studios here at Walt Disney World.
Winnie-The-Pooh Honey Pot Popcorn Bucket – Tokyo Disneyland
Seriously, who doesn’t want to eat Honey Flavor popcorn out of a honey pot with Pooh Bear! Arms outstretched, climbing on discarded honey pots, with the 100-Acre Wood friends circling the bottom. This is only available at Tokyo Disneyland, but needs to be sold here at Walt Disney World in Fantasyland or the UK Pavilion in Epcot.
Tangled Lantern Popcorn Bucket – Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea
Pascal clips onto the strap, it lights up, it has Rapunzel and the floating lanterns! Enough said. Disney World needs more than a bathroom for Tangled. Give us a popcorn stand and sell this.
GROOT Popcorn Bucket Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong gets some good Popcorn Buckets, the Duffy head one is probably one of the best buckets ever, but for Walt Disney World, the Groot in a pot popcorn bucket would go over so well at the Popcorn Stand in World Discovery next to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Poppi The Popcorn Bucket – Disneyland
The newest Disney park-specific character has arrived, named Poppi the Popcorn Bucket, and Poppi is bringing a family of friends with it, named Jimmi, Lolli, Fluffi, and Bonni. Welcome to Disney’s Wonderful World of Sweets, a sweet and sugary paradise for guests of all ages to enjoy at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort! Where you can pick up Poppi & Friends now.
Poppi the Popcorn Bucket is the first new Disney Park character in 3 years, and the first in 2 years at Disneyland. Chubby came to Disneyland when the Mickey & Minnies Runaway Railway opened in 2023. He now joins the pantheon of other Disney Park characters like Ollie the Gingerbread, Figment, Duffy the Bear & Friends, Orange Bird, Sonny Eclipse, and Pirate Redd.
