Poppi the Popcorn Bucket is the first new Disney Park character in 3 years, and the first in 2 years at Disneyland. Chubby came to Disneyland when the Mickey & Minnies Runaway Railway opened in 2023. He now joins the pantheon of other Disney Park characters like Jolli the Gingerbread, Figment, Duffy the Bear & Friends, Orange Bird, Sonny Eclipse, and the Pirate Redd.
If there is one thing we know is Disney Popcorn Buckets, every month we have an ongoing list of available Popcorn Buckets available at Walt Disney World, and we stay on top of the newest Disney movie tie-in buckets. Some have joked that we are a popcorn bucket website that happens to write about Disney too. Our biggest takeaway from the introduction of Poppi over the past month is that the bucket is exclusive to Disneyland. Poppi will not be available in Walt Disney World Parks or Disney Springs (as of yet).

An original Disney character developed for the new shop, Poppi the Popcorn Bucket brings a cute smile and an “a-maize-ing” personality as the newest superstar of Disney’s Wonderful World of Sweets. Popcorn has become an essential snack for so many guests to scoop up when visiting Disneyland over the years, and Poppi has already found a way to leave a mark as a ‘pop’ culture icon.
Poppi the popcorn bucket is only available at Disney Wonderful World of Sweets and is limited to two buckets per guest. To add to the flavorful fun, guests who purchase Poppi the popcorn bucket can also enjoy their novelty with the same beloved and freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn that is also available at Karamell-Küche in EPCOT. Make sure to stop by and see this adorable new addition!
Pick Up Poppi and Friends Inside: While Poppi is prominently featured throughout the shop, there are even more friends joining in on the fun at this dreamy candy and sweets destination! Inside, you can spot new Disney characters scattered throughout the shop who inhabit this delectable wonderland and are available for purchase.
