Businesses are often asked if they have a five-year plan, and we are no exception to that question. We have been told by Disney Parks what the next five years will look like at Disney Parks, including Walt Disney World and Disneyland, plus Disney Cruise Line and more. Some of the upcoming projects have started breaking ground already, while some are in the pipeline, but the next five years will change the Parks Experiences forever.
Josh and Alan’s speech will highlight how the collaboration between Disney Experiences and The Walt Disney Studios teams produces highly-immersive experiences that allow our guests to step into their favorite Disney stories and movies – films inspire attractions in our parks, then the parks inspire the films in return. This will all happen March 8 at SXSW 2025 at 11:30 AM.
Disney tells stories that fans love, invites them into worlds they never dreamed possible, and then makes those places real. Join Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro, Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Alan Bergman, and special guests as they show the convergence of imagination, innovation, and the future of experiential storytelling.

Disney Experiences and Disney Entertainment have always worked together to bring the world of the movies to life inside the Parks, and over the past few years, the Parks have inspired Disney Movies. Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Tomorrowland are just two of the movies to come out in the past years, and the list of attractions and rides based on Disney Entertainment is too massive to list each one. Sleeping Beauty Castle, Cinderella Castle, Star Wars Galaxies Edge, Pandora The World of Avatar, and so on.
With the Casita from Encanto coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Cars-themed land at the Magic Kingdom, Monsters Inc. land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new Villains Land, Indiana Jones taking over Dinosaur, Zootopia’s “Better Zoogether” replacing Big’s Life there is a massive lineup of Disney Entertainment and Disney Experiences projects in the pipeline. For fans of Disney Parks and Disney Movies, this is sure to be a great panel to watch.
