Walt Disney World “Mardi Gras” Pargo Parade 2025. Walt Disney World’s Mardi Gras celebration at Port Orleans Resort—particularly the French Quarter was the place to be on Mardi Gras 2025. A highlight of the celebration is the “Pargo Parade,” a delightful procession where Disney cast members showcase their creativity by decorating golf carts into elaborate, themed floats. This year we saw golf carts decorated to look like Moana, The Muppets Electric Mayhem, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Encanto and more.
This parade heads from Port Orleans Riverside to the French Quarter, creating a lively atmosphere with music, candy, and beads being offered by the resort’s cast members. The parade often features appearances by beloved Disney characters, such as Princess Tiana, and later, she is joined by Louis the Jazz-loving Alligator, adding an extra touch of magic to the Mardi Gras festivities. Check out the images and video below.

Beyond the parade, the French Quarter resort transforms into a hub of Mardi Gras activities. Guests can enjoy various themed crafts, participate in lively dance parties, and indulge in delicious New Orleans-inspired cuisine, including the famous Mickey-shaped beignets. The resort’s ambiance is enhanced with festive decorations, and the Scat Cat’s Club offers live jazz music, further immersing visitors in the spirit of New Orleans. This combination of creative parades and engaging activities makes Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter a fantastic place to experience Mardi Gras.
