Epcot’s Flower & Garden 2025: See Kermit & Miss Piggy’s Return. The Muppets are going through a revival of sorts here at Walt Disney World. Recently announced by Disney Parks, The Muppets Courtyard at Hollywood Studios is being removed to make way for Monsters Inc. land, but we are not losing The Muppets. They are moving to the opposite side of Hollywood Studios and taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
So, we are here to report that The Muppets have not been removed from Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival 2025! Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog topiaries have returned to the pavilion in between France and Morocco in World Showcase. Minus the fence that had to be put in place two years ago to protect them from guests jumping into the flower bed for better images.
Kermit the Frog is once again riding his bike, like he did in The Muppets Take Manhatten and the original The Muppets Movie. The bike has a flower basket on the front handlebars. While Miss Piggy sits next to him on a few of her packed suitcases that she takes when traveling. The purple and pink boxes look stunning in the sun.

Epcot’s Flower & Garden 2025: See Kermit & Miss Piggy’s Return
Walt Disney originally considered creating “living” topiaries when seeing traditional topiary gardening in Europe. Walt eventually then asked animators and Disneyland landscape teams to do their magic – as seen in a rare Disneyland Resort photo from our archives.
In 1963, there were 24 original Disneyland park topiaries, including a waltzing hippo, a poodle, a pig, bears, elephants, seals, and giraffes. In 1966, they were permanently planted at “it’s a small world.”
