You Can Still Meet Characters at Donald’s Dino-Bash In Disney’s Animal Kingdom During Construction 2025. One question that kept popping up on our social media posts was asking us about the Character Meet & Greets in Dinoland USA. Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Chip & Dale (as Chipmunk-O-Saurus) are still meeting guests in Dinoland U.S.A. during the first phase of construction.
Today, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom phase one of the Tropical Americas retheme of Dinoland USA kicked off. Walls were placed around the Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama! section that included Fossil Fun Games, Triceratops Spin, The World Largest Pin Truck, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Store. Disney has filed the necessary permits to demolish that whole section of the parks.
One thing that was not walled off or stopped was Donald’s Dino-Bash. We noticed that the WSEN 103.9 The Dinosaur radio station was still playing music, and the walls did not cover the meet and greet area where Donald, Daisy, and Chip & Dale are located.
The two spots that are covered, and they were limited meet and greets anyway, were where Goofy used to meet next to Triceratops Spin, and where Pluto would meet guests behind Chester & Hester’s Store at the exit walkway from Dinosaur! To answer the next question, yes we did hear “Walk the Dinosaur!” by Was not Was.
