“The Twelve Days of Christmas” Secret Scavenger Hunt at Epcot During Walt Disney World’s Holidays.

The holidays are ongoing here at Walt Disney World, with each park celebrating just a bit differently. Disney’s Animal Kingdom has Merry Menagerie, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is doing the extra-ticketed event called Jollywood Nights, along with Holidays at Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom has the quintessential Christmas feel with trees, decorations, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Epcot is where we are heading for our special “The Twelve Days of Christmas” Secret Scavenger Hunt. You can see the 8-foot tall Spaceship Earth Gingerbread, and sing along to JOYFUL! Of course, the Holiday Kitchens and Cookie Stroll will keep you busy. The World Showcase features Holiday Storytellers, and in the United Kingdom pavilion, Father Christmas can be found sharing the UK traditions and good cheer. While visiting the UK there is a special, unlisted, and does not cost extra, scavenger hunt for the Twelve Days of Christmas.

Warning: Spoilers ahead. We Will give you another warning after the next few Photos of the locations for all twelve days. We will also be going backward starting at twelve! That’s how we remember the song, so join us in singing it!

What are the “The Twelve Days of Christmas”?

  • Twelve drummers drumming,
  • Eleven pipers piping,
  • Ten lords a-leaping,
  • Nine ladies dancing,
  • Eight maids a-milking,
  • Seven swans a-swimming,
  • Six geese a-laying,
  • Five golden rings,
  • Four calling birds,
  • Three French hens,
  • Two turtle doves,
  • And a partridge in a pear tree!

Off-topic, if you were to purchase all of the gifts it would cost you $201,972.66 or $46,729.86 according to PNC. This price depends on how you view the song. Is it one gift per day, or is it each gift per day? So, do I get 1 “partridge in a pear tree“, or do I get to add them up each day for a total of 12 “partridge in a pear tree“? This is highly debated here at Fantasy Land News!

Spoilers Ahead: Just like we did for Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt, we will be giving away the locations of the “The Twelve Days of Christmas” Secret Scavenger Hunt at Epcot after the next image.

All Twelve can be found in the shopping area of the UK Pavilion. There is no map, and all the locations are in the shopping areas, plus the Cast Members aka Cultural representatives will help you on your scavenger hunt. When we did all twelve today, Ella from the UK helped us start our Journey, and then led us around the United Kingdom shops giving us a tour. We made sure to do a Cast Compliment on the MyDisney Experience App. She went above and beyond!

These can be found all over the shopping area of the UK, from outside window displays to simple decorations hanging up inside a shop. Some well-placed ones on a simple plate or bookshelf. The trick is to find the first one, and the rest kind of fall into place.

Twelve Drummers Drumming – Simple and easy start to our song, they are dolls in a window display in The Toy Soldier shop. The window is off to the side of the shop’s main marquee. If looking at The Toy Soldier, turn your head to the right a little.

Eleven pipers piping – This one is inside The Crown and Crest. Walk towards the back of the store, towards The Toy Soldier, and before you exit look up and to your right a little for a set of books.

Ten lords a-leaping and Nine ladies dancing – These both can be found in a window display on either side of the entrance to the Lords and Ladies shop. Head towards the shop from the garden maze area, and look at the windows. Dolls are holding up figures that are paper cutouts. On the right-hand side is a little girl in a holiday outfit holding up the lords, and on the left side is a boy holding the ladies.

Eight maids a-milking – Look on the wall that separates The Tea Caddy and The Queens Table. It is a small china-type plate with 8 maids milking cows.

Seven swans a-swimming – Look for the hanging sing of The Crown and Crest on the main street. In the window you will find a painting of the swans. Easy to overlook.

Six geese a-laying – Another window display, this time it is a pillow with the geese. The pillow is sitting on a chair in the window, this window is located between The Toy Soldier and the Crown and Crest shop.

Five golden rings – The one part of the song we all run from across the house to sing along in unison “FIVE GOLDEN RINGS!”. I started my adventure at The Queen’s Table and asked the CM behind the counter where do I look. She looked at me like I was a simple person, because behind her in all it’s glory is FIVE GOLDEN RINGS!

Four Calling Birds – In The Sportsman Shop look for the staircase, on the landing is Father Christmas holding a bird cage with the Four Calling Birds.

Three French hens – Honestly, our favorites! Disney somehow managed to make the chickens look like they were French! Across from the counter of The Toy Soldier is a display case to your right. Look up and see the very French hens.

Two turtle doves – Head back to The Queen’s Table shop and inside the entrance is a glass display case. Two very cute doves are in a cage. Which leave us our final Partridge that truly is in a pear tree. Go meet and greet Winnie-The-Pooh and as you exit is the KidCot table, and a set of stairs to your right, there are two comfy seats. Look at the tree at the exit to the area.

And a partridge in a pear tree!

There you have it, all “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. Happy hunting.
