Do you live at Walt Disney World?

We are located in Davenport, Florida. Our trip to Universal Orlando takes us 24 minutes. SeaWorld is 20 minutes away. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is located 6.1 miles from the door to the parking lot and takes us 15 minutes. To get onto the Walt Disney World Resort property takes us 10 minutes.

This is why we can bring you all the latest news from the Parks.

How Often Do You Visit a Park and How Many Days Did You Visit a Park Last Year?

In 2024, we were on Disney World Property for 303 Days, Universal Orlando for 22 Days, and SeaWorld for 10 trips.

The great thing about covering Park News is that there is something new every day. It is a kinetic feeling, something is always changing.

We do not expect to visit less often in 2025. We love what we do, and we enjoy sharing our knowledge of the Parks.

What Makes You an Authoritative Figure to Do Disney and Universal News?

Greg Gately comes from a background in media. Growing up in the music business. Greg was one of the first 3rd-generation Audio Engineers back in the 90s. Growing up in a house that was also a business that supplied audio equipment for concerts, Greg spent time learning the family business starting at age 12. When Greg turned 16, on his birthday, he got his driver’s license and was given the keys to an 18-foot box truck to drive the equipment to the next concert to help set up and tear down.

By the time Greg was 20, he started working with local bands in the Philadelphia area and would get the chance to tour with Shelter and No Doubt in 1996. This was when you learned on the road as an intern and did not need to go to Full Sail. Everyone older learned from past generations, and everyone younger had to have a degree.

By the early 2000s, Greg had already worked with James Brown, Ray Charles, George Clinton and P-Funk, Judy Collins, Janis Ian, The Association, Chubby Checkers, Bill Haley’s Comets, and many more.

Greg worked with the independent band Dispatch for a few years and landed the dream job of working with a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Felix Cavaliere’s Rasca, aka The Rascal, aka The Young Rascals. Touring the world as a production manager and front-of-house audio engineer. During this time, the band would play the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival for 3 days yearly. 3 shows a night.

Greg toured with The Rascals, The Association, Lou Cristy, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, among many other Oldie Acts.

Then it was onto working and touring with Collin Raye, who had sold 20 million records in the Country Market. Greg ended his career here being the Tour Manager and Audio Engineer. Setting up radio interviews, working with national TV shows like Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, and Fourth of July celebrations around the country. Playing the Grand Ole Opry, the Super Bowl, Stadiums, and Arenas around the world.
