
Where to Find Olaf During “Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition 2024” During Festival of the Holidays. Happy, merry, holly, jolly season’s greetings here, wondering where to find Olaf during “That” time of year? Well don’t get stuck in the cold, we have the answers. We will give fair warning before we spoil any location, so you are safe right now reading ahead. We went around World Showcase and CommuniCore Hall and found Olaf with traditions of each pavilion during Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays.
Olaf is back again this year with a new scavenger hunt called Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt: Go on a festive quest hunting for holiday traditions that Olaf has gathered and lost along the way. Maps may be purchased at select merchandise locations. Once completed, redeem your map for a gift worth melting for! Available while supplies last.
Help Olaf search for a fun holiday tradition! Using the stickers on your map, mark each “tradition” Ols has found around the World Showcase. Whether you choose to complete your expedition or not, redeem your map for a small keepsake! Redemption is valid thru 12/30/24 or while supplies last.
Once completed, or even when you purchase a map for $9.99 or $7.99 with AP Discount plus taxes, you can pick one of four silicone stencils featuring characters from Disney’s Frozen. Anna, Elsa, Sven, and Olaf, plus you get a bonus stencil of Spaceship Earth.

Here is a breakdown of where you too can find Olaf around World Showcase during Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition 2024
CommuniCore Hall: Kinara (Candles) – The seven days of Kwanzaa celebrated with seven candles symbolize struggle, hope, and the people of Africa. He is found on the corner of the building outside towards CommuniCore Plaza.
Canada: Gingerbread – Young and old delight in baking and decorating sugary gingerbread cookies. Olaf can be found on the roof of Trading Post which is located up the stairs, or up the ramp.
United Kingdom: Holiday Crackers – Around many dinner tables, holiday crackers “explode” to reveal festive surprises! He is on a window sill near the gardens. Head towards Winnie-the-Pooh meet and greet, turn towards The Toy Soldier, and look up in the middle.
France: Yule Log – In winter, many Families place yule logs on the hearth to bring good luck, as they cozy up around the fireplace. Olaf is up in the corner near the entrance to Beauty and the Beast sing-along, if looking at the show, right side on the balcony of Les Vins de France.
L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen: Dreidels Many families celebrate Hanukkah by playing with four-sided spinning tops, called dreidels. He is on the right corner of the actual food booth.
Morocco: Olives – December is the time to give thanks for the harvest with a lively olive festival. Back in the bazarre across from Jasmine meet and greet. head to Jasmine, before you get to the archway look up and to the left.
Japan: Kagami – Mochi Many families decorate for the New Year with festive kagami mochi made from rice. This Olaf can be found on the ground, in a garden at the entrance to the museum, on the right-hand side across from the stairs leading up to Katsura Grill.
American Adventure: Carols – Children of all ages ring in the most joyous time of the year by singing cherished carols. Find the giant Christmas Tree, and look at the base surrounded by poinsettias.
Italy: Panettone – Many bakers prepare a zesty fruitcake called panettone as a delectable holiday treat. Head towards the back where Fontana Di Nettuno – Italian for “The Fountain of Neptune” when looking at the god with the two fish, look up and to the right.
Germany: Candy Canes – The First-Ever Candy Canes are said to have been given as gifts from a choirmaster. Olaf is hanging out with the Teddy Bears! Head towards the center of the Germany Pavilion and then look for Dar Teddybar, look above the sign for the store.
China: Floating Lanterns – Floating lanterns fill the night skies, marking the beginning of the New Year. In the back where the markets are look for the House of Good Fortune and look up and to the right. Olaf has 2 red lanterns.
Norway: Straw Decorations – Goats, made of straw, guard Christmas trees as the holidays draw nearer! Olaf is home in Norway and has pulled the sled onto the roof above Kringla Bakery.
Mexico: Poinsettias – Festive poinsettias are presented in striking arrangements to celebrate the holidays. Head to the entrance of la Cantina and look up! He is hanging out above the sign.
Olaf can also be found at Hollywood Studios during the holidays on stage at For the First Time in Forever.
