Dinosaur to Remain Open Through 2025 – One More Blast to the Past! Disney has announced that guests still have time to relive the past, you can still get that last ride in on Dinosaur at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, if you want to, as the ride will remain open through the 2025 calendar year.

Dinosaur and Dinoland USA are set to become extinct. The whole Land at Animal Kingdom is set to become Tropical Americas. Headlined by a new Encanto-themed attraction, Dinosaur will be rethemed to Indiana Jones, and a new Disney animal carousel will be built. With fans knowing all this, and Disney saying recently there is still time to visit the Dinosaur ride, they have been posting their goodbyes thinking that may have been the last time they will enjoy saving the Iguanodon. But now we know exactly how much time we have left.

In the ride, you’re recruited by a paleontologist to rescue an Iguanadon from a primeval forest and return it to the present before a giant meteor hits Earth. You board a Time Rover vehicle and race through the forest, dodging dinosaurs like the Velociraptor and Cearadactylus.

Last Chance for DINOSAUR

While you’re visiting, make sure you “go get that dino” at DINOSAUR. We’ve previously shared this attraction will be closing to make way for the new Tropical Americas land – 2025 is your year to visit before it goes extinct!

Indiana Jones

A new Indy experience is set to arrive in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and will be different from any other Indiana Jones experience around the world.

In this new venture, the man with the hat has recently discovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to explore it. He’s heard rumors about a mythical creature deep within the temple — and he’s got to see it for himself. So, he brings us along on the adventure… but will there be snakes? We’ll just have to wait and see.
