Disney Tsum Tsums are coming back to Disney Store on November 10, 2026, with a new Bakery Plush Collection from Disney Store Japan. Mickey, Chip, Dale, Winnie the Pooh and Stitch are mini stackable plush dressed as bakery treats, from a fruit sandwich to a stack of pancakes. Disney has not posted prices yet, and the set is also coming to Disney Parks soon. It is the newest holiday plush drop at Disney Store, after the Muppet Christmas Carol collection.
What are Tsum Tsums? The name comes from the Japanese word “tsumu,” which means to stack. They are small, rounded plush with a character face on the front, made to stack into a little pyramid. They started in Japan in 2013 with a hit mobile game and came to U.S. Disney Stores in July 2014. They took off fast. By 2017, Disney had sold about $1 billion in Tsum Tsum merchandise.
How long have they been gone? Disney never announced an end date. In 2015, Tsum Tsums were stacked at nearly every Disney Store checkout. After that, new U.S. releases slowed to a trickle. Disney’s own blog admitted in October that it has been a while since many new Tsum Tsums came out in the U.S. Japan never stopped, and Disney Store Japan kept making themed sets, from sushi to candy.
Why are they coming back? Disney Store has been bringing Disney Store Japan favorites to DisneyStore.com. In October, that included Winnie the Pooh plush and plush in tiny hooded duffle coats. The Tsum Tsum Bakery set is the next wave. In Japan, the line is called Mickey’s Bakery.
The lineup:
- Chip: A Japanese fruit sandwich with strawberries, kiwi and cream.
- Dale: A sandwich with lettuce and tomato.
- Winnie the Pooh: A stack of fluffy pancakes with butter on top.
- Mickey Mouse: Wrapped in a thick slice of toast. Disney lists French toast in the set.
- Stitch: Curled up inside a golden pastry.
Even the characters look baked. Mickey’s face is toasty tan, and Stitch is golden brown instead of blue.
Price and size: Disney has not posted U.S. prices. In Japan, the Chip fruit sandwich mini sells for 2,250 yen and is about 3 by 3.5 by 4 inches, the classic mini Tsum Tsum size.
Where to buy: DisneyStore.com on November 10, with Disney Parks coming later. Disney has not given a parks date. Disney first shared the set on the Disney Parks Blog.
Our take: Tsum Tsums were the original small, stackable Disney craze long before blind boxes took over. The bakery set is one of the cutest Japan has made, and Chip’s fruit sandwich is the one we would grab first. If you want one, check DisneyStore.com on launch day.
