Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Adds New Queue Effect Where 3D Glasses Used to Be

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT has a fun new surprise in its queue. It is in the spot where guests used to grab their 3D glasses. Look at the windows. You will see the shadows of Remy, Emile and a bunch of little rats. They are busy cooking food for the big party at the end of the ride. Check out the video below.

The ride stopped using 3D glasses when it switched to 2D in November 2025. That left this spot empty. Now it has something to see while you wait. This area is just after the Lightning Lane and regular queue meet-up, before you get to the ride vehicles.

Our take: We wish we could grab better images, but EPCOT is a little busy at this moment; thanks to Drew The Disney Dude, we have video below. This is a small change, but we love it. It is a fun little bit of magic. It gives you a sneak peek of the final scene before you even get in your ride vehicle. Also, it just goes to show how Disney Imagineering is never truly done with these rides. They are always looking for a way to improve. Want more Remy fun? Here is where to find Remy in the Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt.
