Lori Loughlin is having a very Hallmark week. After many years absent from the network, she is back. Her brand-new Garage Sale Mysteries movie premiered last night, and during that, we got a sneak peek at her return to When Calls the Heart. Last night, Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage, the 17th movie in the Garage Sale Mysteries franchise, premiered. During the movie, fans were treated to Abigail Stanton’s return to Hope Valley. Today, fans got a first look at What If Christmas, coming this Countdown to Christmas season.
We first found out about Lori Loughlin’s return last year at the Hallmark Christmas Experience. We will see Lori Loughlin again at Hallmark Christmas Experience Week 3. Following that, the final scene from Season 13 was Abigail getting out of a cab in Hope Valley. We know that she will appear in 6 episodes of Season 14 of When Calls the Heart. In the clip, we see Elizabeth’s joy at seeing Abigail. Abigail tells Elizabeth that she wouldn’t miss her wedding. She is then introduced to Elizabeth’s fiancé, Nathan.
Additionally, it was announced this week that Lori Loughlin is part of Countdown to Christmas with her all-new Christmas movie, What If Christmas. She will star opposite Tom Cavanagh, and it will premiere on October 25th. What If Christmas is the story of Erin, who has always supported her heart surgeon husband, Adam’s career by organizing the hospital’s Christmas charity galas. However, when he moves to a new hospital, her help is no longer needed. Feeling lost and without a purpose back in New York City, her long-suppressed regrets over giving up her dream of pursuing fashion design start bubbling up. When Erin is given a peculiar heart-shaped Christmas ornament, she wakes up in an alternate reality where she’s a world-famous fashion designer. As she “meets” and attends Christmas events with alternate universe Adam, she realizes that while her fashion dreams came true, it’s lonely at the top. While working on a way to bring more charity and heart to her fashion empire, she learns that her dream life and love were always right in front of her – if only she finds the heart and courage to ask.
