Disney has released the first photos and video of Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, the new interactive stage show debuting May 26 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as part of Cool Kids’ Summer 2026.
The show runs 20 minutes and is set inside the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Lot, the outdoor area formerly known as Animation Courtyard that opens the same day. The premise is straightforward in the best possible way for little ones: Mickey and Minnie are ready for a party at Mickey’s house, but Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto have not shown up yet. So the whole crew heads out to track them down, and guests come along for the ride. The finale brings everyone back together for a high-energy celebration packed with original songs and choreography.
The show is built around audience participation — kids are expected to move, clap, and dance throughout, not just sit and watch. That format worked extremely well when the show debuted at Disney California Adventure in May 2025. Worth noting: Disney has not confirmed whether the Hollywood Studios version is an exact copy of what opened at DCA or if there are differences for this market. What Disney is releasing today gives us a strong sense of the production quality, and it looks polished.
One thing worth watching as guests start sharing videos on opening day — the preview footage ends with streamers and confetti firing off for the finale. We genuinely hope that lands in every performance and is not just a press preview moment. That kind of practical effect goes a long way with young audiences, and it would be a shame if it gets scaled back once the crowds arrive.
The show fills a real gap at Hollywood Studios. Disney Jr. Play and Dance closed last September alongside the broader Animation Courtyard overhaul, and the area has been behind construction walls ever since. With the Walt Disney Studios Lot opening and this show anchoring it, families with young kids finally have a dedicated destination in this park again. Eight shows are scheduled daily, and it is included with park admission. It is also part of Lightning Lane Multi Pass as a second-tier experience.
