The Banana Ball Open is coming to Walt Disney World April 15 to 18, 2027, bringing all six Banana Ball teams, including the Savannah Bananas, to ESPN Wide World of Sports near Orlando. Banana Ball tickets start at $35, and fans must join the Banana Ball ticket lottery by October 31, 2026. It is Banana Ball’s second trip to Disney World after sold-out games in 2026.

What is Banana Ball? It is baseball with silly rules and a lot of dancing. Players dance between plays. If a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an out. The most famous team is the Savannah Bananas.

What is happening: All six teams will come to Disney World, and four of them will play in the Banana Ball Open. Games will be at The Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports, which has more than 9,500 seats. This is Banana Ball’s second visit. The Party Animals and the Loco Beach Coconuts played two sold-out games there in May 2026.

How to get tickets: Join the ticket lottery list at BananaBall.com before 11:50 p.m. Eastern on October 31. Getting on the list does not promise you tickets. If you are picked, they will contact you. Regular tickets start at $35, and meet and greet tickets start at $100. Banana Ball says there are no hidden fees.

Could this mean a Banana Ball Day at Disney World? Disney has not said so, but it has happened before. Disneyland held a Savannah Bananas Day in March 2026. Players rode and danced down Main Street, U.S.A., and the parks sold banana treats like banana pudding and a frozen banana mudslide. Could Magic Kingdom get its own Banana Ball parade down Main Street, U.S.A. in April? Could we see banana snacks and drinks around the parks? We will be watching.

Our take: Fans had a great time at the games earlier this year, and ESPN Wide World of Sports may have been the smallest place the league played. But we just do not get it. We are baseball elitists. We do not need fans helping out on foul balls. We do not want a song and dance and a rhythm routine. We want pure baseball. If you love Banana Ball, get on the list before October 31. As for us, let’s go Phillies!

Banana Ball is also getting its own documentary. Read about the Banana Ball documentary coming to Disney+ and Hulu.
