October is National Pizza and Pasta Month, and two restaurants in EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion make it easy to celebrate without a flight to Naples: Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria for pizza and Tutto Italia Ristorante for handmade pasta. We eat at both often, and one of them is our favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World.
That restaurant is Via Napoli. The building is designed to mirror the architecture of Southern Italy, and the kitchen specializes in Neapolitan pizza made with fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, and Caputo flour from Italy. The menu runs from a simple Margherita to the cheese-heavy Quattro Formaggi. You can see the full lineup in our Via Napoli menu guide.
Pizzas come in three sizes: a 10-inch individual, a 20-inch large, and the half-meter Mezzo Metro. We’ve found that covers anything from a solo lunch to a table of six, depending on what you order. Our order never changes. We get mushroom and double pepperoni, and it is outstanding every time.
No reservation? The Pizza al Taglio window next door sells slices to go. We stop there every chance we get.
For pasta, head to Tutto Italia, also inside the Italy Pavilion. The dining room is filled with Old World decor, and the restaurant is known for its handmade pastas and sauces. Lasagne alla Bolognese, fettuccine, and the signature Tutto Risotto lead the menu. Our Tutto Italia menu guide has the rest.
Our Take: Via Napoli is our favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World, and it’s where we’d send any friend who asks for one meal at EPCOT. Tutto Italia fills a different need. If you’re inside EPCOT looking for a spot to sit down for a quiet, good Italian dinner, Tutto is the place.
Both are table-service restaurants, so book ahead if you can. October is a busy month at EPCOT thanks to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and walk-up tables go fast on weekends. Current menus and hours are on the Via Napoli and Tutto Italia websites.
