Swan Drive-In will start selling the Rocky 50th Anniversary Staircase Popcorn Bucket online at 10 p.m. ET tonight for $39.95, along with the Rocky 50th Anniversary Round Popcorn Tin for $17.95. Swan is also carrying two collectibles for I Play Rocky, Peter Farrelly’s new film about how Sylvester Stallone got Rocky made: a boxing glove popcorn bucket and a boxing robe tumbler. Rocky 50th Anniversary returns to theaters in 4K November 7 through 11, 2026.
In theaters, Fathom Entertainment, Amazon MGM Studios and Park Circus have confirmed three Rocky exclusives for select participating theaters nationwide: the Staircase bucket, a 130 oz. round popcorn tin, and a 44 oz. beverage cup. We are tracking every release on our Movie Theater Popcorn Buckets guide, and Rocky is one of several big reveals this week, alongside the Whalefall whale popcorn bucket and the Sense and Sensibility Book Stack tin.
Rocky 50th Anniversary Staircase Bucket and Tin
The Staircase bucket recreates the top of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, with a small Rocky figure in his gray sweatsuit and black beanie standing on the edge, arms raised, and popcorn filling the landing behind him. It is finished in stone tan with brick walls framing each side of the steps. The 130 oz. tin is black with a ring of blue stars around the top and bottom, and giant ROCKY letters wrap around it, each filled with a blue-tinted shot of Rocky celebrating on the steps.
At Swan, the Staircase Popcorn Bucket is $39.95 and the Round Popcorn Tin is $17.95. Both ship on or before November 6, the day before the 4K run starts. Fathom and participating theaters have not announced their prices yet. Swan’s pricing lines up with our earlier estimates, so we still expect the Staircase at $40 to $50, the tin at $15 to $20, and the 44 oz. cup at $10 to $15 at the concession stand. Those are FLN estimates, not official prices, and Fathom says to check with your local theater for availability and possible purchase limits.
I Play Rocky Glove Popcorn Bucket and Robe Tumbler
The other two pieces are for I Play Rocky, the Amazon MGM Studios film starring Anthony Ippolito as a young Stallone. It opens in select theaters November 6 and expands to theaters everywhere later in November.
The I Play Rocky Glove Popcorn Bucket is a sculpted red boxing glove with two white bands at the cuff and the I Play Rocky logo on the wrist. The top of the glove flips open on a hinge, and the popcorn goes inside the fist. It is $39.95 online at Swan Drive-in
The I Play Rocky Grippr™ Tumbler is sculpted like a red boxing robe with gold lapels and a gold belt tied at the waist, topped with a gold lid and straw. It is $19.95 and listed as in stock. Both I Play Rocky pieces also ship on or before November 6.
The re-release brings Sylvester Stallone’s Oscar-winning film back in a new 4K restoration, plus an exclusive featurette from I Play Rocky. Tickets are on the Fathom Entertainment website, and you can watch the trailer here.
