Three new Fast and the Furious 25th Anniversary collectibles, including Dom’s Charger Popcorn Bucket, a License Plate Popcorn Tin Bucket, and a NOS Canister Cup, are now available to order online at Swan Drive-In ahead of the film’s August 21 return to theaters. Universal Pictures is bringing the original 2001 film back to theaters nationwide from August 21 through August 27 to mark 25 years since LAPD officer Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) went undercover into Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) street racing crew. Rob Cohen directed the film, Neal H. Moritz produced it, and Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster round out the original cast.
Swan Drive-In’s lineup gives collectors an online option outside the theater rollout. The License Plate Popcorn Tin Bucket runs $19.99, the NOS Canister Cup is $29.99, and Dom’s Charger Popcorn Bucket, shaped after Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, is $49.99. Regal and Cinemark are also bringing their own versions of the Charger bucket and license plate tin to theaters for the rerelease, which we covered when the items were first revealed in June, and pricing on those theater-exclusive versions still has not been confirmed.
Fast and the Furious joins a stacked slate of anniversary popcorn buckets this year. Harry Potter’s 25th anniversary brings the Hogwarts Express bucket and a full merch lineup to AMC, Regal, and Cinemark starting in late August. Pixar’s Cars returns to theaters in September for its 20th anniversary, Rocky marks its 50th anniversary with a Fathom Entertainment run from November 7 through 11, and Scream’s 30th anniversary is coming sometime in October.
