Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration is set to close out D23 Day at Disney California Adventure on Thursday, Aug. 13, and Disney says it will be the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled. The concert kicks off World Princess Week and caps a day that also includes a Disney Legends Cavalcade and the return of the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party, though the concert is the marquee moment fans are watching closely. For our full breakdown of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, visit our D23 2026 Complete Guide.
While you’re planning your D23 Day visit, don’t miss the new Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket also debuting that week at Disneyland Resort.
The performance celebrates Disney Princess stories across animation, live-action, stage, and music, with a production design built around dazzling lights, sweeping projections, and sky-high fountains at Paradise Gardens Park. Attendance is limited and requires a virtual queue, so planning ahead matters if you want a shot at getting in.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
- Location: Paradise Gardens Park, Disney California Adventure
- Showtimes: 8:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. PST
- Virtual queue enrollment: Opens at 12:00 p.m. PST on Aug. 13
- Requirements: Virtual queue confirmation, wristband, and valid Disney California Adventure admission
HOW THE VIRTUAL QUEUE WORKS
You can request to join the virtual queue through the Disneyland app starting at 12:00 p.m. PST on Aug. 13, either after entering California Adventure or after entering Disneyland with a valid Park Hopper ticket. Once you join, you will be assigned an admittance group.
When your group is called, you will get a push notification telling you to head to the Hyperion Theater Courtyard between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to scan your ticket or entry code and pick up your wristband. Virtual queue admittance groups are extremely limited and available while supplies last, so joining as close to 12:00 p.m. as possible gives you the best shot.
A few important details: wristbands are only given to guests with a valid virtual queue entry code who have signed a filming release form, since photography, filming, and recording will be taking place during the show. Wristbands have no cash value, cannot be sold, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged. Availability and procedures are subject to change without notice, so keep an eye on official Disney channels as Aug. 13 approaches.
CAN’T MAKE IT IN PERSON?
If you don’t land a spot in the virtual queue, the concert will stream on Disney+ and air on Disney Channel, Freeform, and The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC on Sunday, Aug. 16. That gives every Disney Princess fan a way to see the show even without a wristband.
OUR TAKE – Given how limited these virtual queue groups are expected to be, I would not count on strolling into California Adventure that afternoon and casually joining the queue. If this concert is the reason you’re going to D23 Day, have the Disneyland app open and ready to go right at 12:00 p.m. PST, and have a backup plan for your day in case you don’t get an admittance group. Worst case, you’re still getting a broadcast and streaming option four days later, so it’s not an all-or-nothing trip.
