Tickets for Disney’s live-action Moana are now on sale, and a brand-new trailer has arrived featuring Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Lagaʻaia, and the return of Jemaine Clement as the glitz-obsessed giant crab Tamatoa.

Clement reprises the same role he voiced in the original animated film, bringing Tamatoa back to the live-action reimagining alongside the previously announced cast. Lagaʻaia stars as Moana, Johnson returns as the demigod Maui, Rena Owen plays Gramma Tala, John Tui plays Chief Tui, and Frankie Adams plays Moana’s mother Sina.
The film follows Moana as she answers the Ocean’s call and voyages beyond the reef of Motunui for the first time, with Maui alongside her on a journey to restore prosperity to her people. Thomas Kail, the Emmy and Tony Award-winning director of Hamilton, directs. The film is produced by Dwayne Johnson, Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, with Auliʻi Cravalho — who voiced Moana in both animated films — serving as executive producer.
Original songs are by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foaʻi, and Mark Mancina, with an original score by Mancina.
