Illumination’s Minions & Monsters opens in theaters on July 1, 2026, and the theatrical collectibles race is already underway. Regal and Cinemark have both revealed their full lineups, with more chains expected to announce in the coming weeks. Regal
Regal has three sculpted collectible popcorn containers confirmed for the film, all available at participating locations while supplies last. The full breakdown is in our Regal Minions & Monsters popcorn buckets guide, but here is the quick rundown.
The Zoetrope Collectible Popcorn Bucket is the standout of the entire theatrical run so far. It is a teal art-deco styled chest with ornate gold legs, designed to tie into the film’s 1920s Hollywood setting. It comes filled with a large popcorn. The Irene Collectible Popcorn Container shows a Minion being consumed by a lumpy orange many-eyed monster and also comes with a large popcorn. The James and Goomi Collectible Popcorn Container features a suited Minion holding a small green creature, also with a large popcorn included.
Regal is also offering a Collectible Kids Combo (64oz Popcorn Tin, 16oz Drink Cup, filled with popcorn and soda, plus one of five character toppers), Shoulder Buddies magnetic plush pals, and the Collectible Explorer Light-Up Cup.
Cinemark
Cinemark has an exclusive Cowboy Souvenir Cup that is a North America-only shaped cup featuring a Minion in a cowboy hat and bandana. On the bucket side, the James & Irene Popcorn Bucket and James & Goomi Popcorn Bucket are both sculpted figures, not standard printed tubs. What is Minions & Monsters about?
The film tells the story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world, and then had to band together to save the planet from the chaos they created. Set in 1920s Hollywood, a new tribe of Minions crashes a film set and quickly becomes the toast of the entertainment world. The voice cast includes Jeff Bridges, Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch, Bobby Moynihan, and Trey Parker. Pierre Coffin directs and voices the Minions, as he has since the franchise began in 2010.
