Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen Video Game Arrives December 11! BBC Studios and Bluey creator Joe Brumm have partnered with Halfbrick Studios to launch a new adventure game: Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen. The original, story-led game launches on Apple devices on December 11, 2025. It will come to Google Play on January 10, 2026. The game will offer a free experience, with an optional one-time payment to unlock all levels. Halfbrick and PM Studios will also bring the game to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later in 2026.
While we wait for Bluey to come to Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and also wait for the new Bluey Movie coming in August of 2027, we can at least enjoy time spent playing with the Heeler family in a new video game called ‘Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen‘ while listening to ‘Bluey’ Christmas Music Set for November Release: New Song and Holiday Theme Song
The game’s story begins when Dad takes the Gold Pen Bluey needs to finish her drawing. The family is then transported into Bluey’s drawn world. Mum designs the lands, Dad becomes King Goldie Horns, and Bingo turns into her alter ego, Bingoose. They start a quest to get the Gold Pen back and have fun doing it.
New Story, Big Adventure – Inspired by the hand-drawn worlds in the Dragon and Escape episodes of the TV show, Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen lets players unlock Bluey’s drawings. The game features new cutscenes and a story written by Joe Brumm, blending story with discovery gameplay.
Players explore nine levels filled with mountains, beaches, forests, and the Australian Outback. Each level leads players toward King Goldie Horns’ kingdom. Along the way, players can find hidden items, solve puzzles, and go on mini quests. Players can glide, fly, and skate through challenges.
Joe Brumm says, “Bluey has always been about turning small moments into big adventures. Writing Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen and seeing the game come to life has been fun, and I’m excited for families to play.”
