At the physical theaters, people were lining up early in the morning, with some getting in line as early as 6:00 AM for the 9:00 AM theater opening. While some theaters were allotted more than others. We have seen where some theaters had enough product to sell a limit of 5 per movie showing, while some theaters only received 5 to 8 total.
The Regal Cinemas exclusive Fantasticar was well stocked and is now available to purchase online for $59.95, not including shipping. It can be found in Regal’s for $45.00. HERBIE popcorn vessel, the AMC Theaters exclusive, was also a sought-after Fantastic Four: First Steps collectible, and it suffered from the same issue as Galactus. Some theaters seemed to get 80 to 100, others barely got 10 HERBIE’s.
AMC 24 here at Disney Springs had a good amount of the Galactus popcorn buckets, and when we saw the movie at 5:00 PM, HERBIE was still available, while Galactus sold out around 1:00 PM.
