No Shows Scheduled: Cinderella Castle Stage Refurbishment in the Magic Kingdom. Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire and Let the Magic Begin have no shows scheduled on the entertainment calendar for the next few weeks as the Cinderella Castle Stage goes down for refurbishment. Both shows have “Be sure to check the Entertainment Schedule, the My Disney Experience app, or the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom park for daily showtimes,” according to the Walt Disney World website.
The stage’s cover has been removed to begin work on the metal structure. All signs surrounding the castle have “No Showtimes Today” listed. This does not affect the nighttime spectacular Happily Ever After fireworks show. The shows should resume in the next week or so, considering Cool Kids Summer starts on May 27th, 2025. Meanwhile, if you are looking to still see some of the characters that appear during the stage shows, Disney has added a lot of new walk-around characters, and more meet and greets in the Park.
Join the opening ceremonies with Mickey Mouse and the gang as they welcome you to The Most Magical Place on Earth during Let the Magic Begin. Even though the stage show is not going on right now, the announcements still play, and fireworks are still welcoming guests to the Magic Kingdom. The show normally happens 5 minutes before the officially posted opening times for the Park.
Meanwhile, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire show plays multiple times a day, starting around 10:00 AM EST daily. Watch as Mickey and friends take to the stage in front of Cinderella Castle for a musical extravaganza.
A Faire to Remember – It takes a whole enchanted kingdom to put on this show—and you’re cordially invited. Look for Tiana and friends from The Princess and the Frog and Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled. Mickey even recruits Olaf, Anna, and Elsa from Frozen to join in!
