New Epcot Lounge Website Launches: Explore Geo-82. In 2025, Epcot will debut Geo-82, a new lounge located within Spaceship Earth. The name, Geo-82, is a nod to Epcot’s origins: ‘Geo’ signifies Earth, and ’82’ represents 1982, the year the park opened. This will be the first adults-only lounge inside an Epcot park, and only the second adults-only lounge at Walt Disney World overall. The Walt Disney World website was updated almost immediately following the announcement of the Geo-82 earlier today.
Disney Parks has also revealed the lounge’s new logo, which you can see in the image below. Furthermore, when GEO-82 opens this year, the location will offer reservations for guests 21 and older. This lounge will be the ultimate spot to toast to a trip around EPCOT with innovative cocktails and globally influenced small plates while you take in spectacular park views.
Imagine sitting by the windows overlooking the World Celebration, with the World Showcase in the distance. You will be visually lined up with the World Showcase Bridge in Epcot. When the torches get lit, and Luminous The Sumphony of Us begins it should offer a panoramic view of the whole spectacle. Plus, having views of the new World Celebration lighting, being just above Walt the Dreamer statue should be quite the experience.
