Large Crane and Walls in Tomorrowland for Astro Orbiter Refurbishment. This morning we got to the Magic Kingdom and felt very walled in. Besides the walls at Main Street Railroad Station, the walls dividing The Emporium in half, and the construction at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, there is now a large yellow crane and walls surrounding it in Tomorrowland.
The walls are from the exit of the Peoplemover, around a third of The Launching Pad on the Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. We rode the Peoplemover this morning to get a better view. You can see the images below the space the crane and walls are taking up for now. The walls themselves have signs every few sections with various sayings.

There is no word how long the crane and the walls will be up. The refurbishment is expected to last five to eight months, and the crane is needed to work on the Astro Orbiter since it is located on the third floor of The Launching Pad, which I would imagine makes that the fourth floor of the Magic Kingdom since the utilidor tunnels are located on floor one?
