Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros will close for refurbishment on January 6, 2025, and is expected to reopen on March 15, 2025.
The entrance marquee is now covered and the inside of the pyramid has faux walls up. Cast Members are playing games with kids during park hours.
This is just a refurbishment of the beloved attraction that features Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose traveling around the country of Mexico. The ride is NOT being rethemed to Coco, which has been rumored for years.
January starts the 2025 year which will be the start of a major transformation over the next few years at Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts. January alone will see Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Astor Orbiter in the Magic Kingdom Close for refurbishment. Animal Kingdom will officially close and remove parts of Dino-land USA.
