Wookiee Life Day Popcorn Bucket Coming to Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge. Starting tomorrow November 15, 2024, Galaxy’s Edge will continue the yearly celebration of Wookie Life day at Disneyland. What started during the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special has turned into a longstanding Wookiee tradition, Life Day celebrates the values and tenets of Wookiee culture, including family, joy, and harmony. While Life Day is a celebration traditionally held at the Tree of Life on Kashyyyk and observed by extended Wookiee families, Wookiees throughout the galaxy still mark the day.
Disney Eats posted today that the new Wookiee Life Day Bucket, which features an image of a Wookiee carved into a piece of a tree log, the words Happy Life Day carved into the base, with a leather strap that says, Joy & Harmony. There is no word on this landing on Batuu East aka Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World. We suspect we should see this along with a few of the treats listed below, but not all of them will make it to the East Coast.
