runDisney Halloween Half Marathon Ends in Tragedy for Disney Influencer. Just the day prior to the runDisney Halloween Half Marathon Bobby Graves aka Caleb @calebgtarvels made a TikTok post saying how bad the heat had affected him. In the post, he mentions that he just got back from a walk with his dog, and a few minutes later he just passed out. 24 hours later he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

He had no known prior conditions, and when you look at his past posts he was a happy healthy person just living the good life bringing his passion for Disney to his 20,000 followers. Just visiting Disney World and Universal Studios, eating his way around the parks, and enjoying his time at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2 weeks prior to his trip to the East Coast, this man was living it up!

That all ended when he finished the Disneyland runDisney Halloween Half Marathon. Around 7 a.m. Sunday, the man crossed the finish line of the race clutching his chest. A volunteer caught him before he collapsed, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Matt Sutter.

โ€œAnaheim fire and rescue personnel were on scene immediately and started giving lifesaving measures and transported them to the hospital,โ€ Sutter said. โ€œUnfortunately, they worked on him for about an hour, and he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.โ€

According to Sutter, Graves had no known medical conditions before his unexpected death. He was also an experienced long-distance runner who dedicated a portion of his online reels to reviews and advice for other runners looking to participate in Disney road races. Before his last race, Graves had competed earlier this year in Disney Worldโ€™s full marathon and half-marathon races, as he did in 2023.

โ€œWe are deeply saddened by this tragic loss and our hearts are with Calebโ€™s family and loved ones during this difficult time,โ€ Disneyland Resort spokesperson Jessica Good said in an email to the LA Times

By all accounts, Disney and Universal were Caleb’s passion, along with writing poetry. He had just released a book of poetry titled ‘love, and other love’ – love, and other love is Caleb Gravesโ€™s debut poetry book. Graves embarks on a journey across different chapters of life as he ponders the highs and lows of love. He questions it, thrills in it, doubts it, drowns in it, runs from it, aches because of it, curses it, and searches for it anew.

The word influencer can be both good and bad, and by all accounts, Caleb was a Disney influencer, but truly he was just a huge Disney fan! He shared his love of the Parks, food, resorts, and runDisney. If he happened to influence others to enjoy those same passions, then yes, he was in the Disney influencer bubble. Obviously people enjoyed what he shared, his account is filled with almost all positivity and his comment section reflected that.
