Terry Crews Finally Visits Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at Disney World. Despite appearing in the attraction, Terry Crews never had the chance to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind until recently. Last month, Crews visited the Wonders of Xandar pavilion with other EPCOT visitors and finally experienced EPCOT’s newest thrill ride. Crews plays Centurion Tal Marik in the attraction, a Nova Corps member from the planet Xandar. Tal Marik is the commander of the Starcharter and a close advisor to Nova Corps leader Nova Prime.
In the attraction, Tal Marik humorously struggles to name EPCOT visitors, referring to them as “people of EPCOT,” “EPCOTers,” “EPCOTians,” “citizens of EPCOT,” and “EPCOT Terrans.”
During his visit, Crews wore a Nova Corps shirt and posed in front of his character in the ride’s preshow. A short video released by Disney shows Crews boarding the ride and blasting off into space. Upon returning to the unloading area after “saving the galaxy,” he cheered loudly.
