New Logo Revealed as Test Track in Epcot is Closed for Reimagination plus Ride Times Skyrocket Around Park. Test Track is officially closed, and walls have been placed around the entrance to the Disney attraction. A new Test Track logo has been revealed on the new walls, as you can see in the image above.

What we have seen today is not an anomaly when it comes to ride times around Epcot. We have discussed in the past how certain rides are considered ‘people eaters’, meaning a ride can hold a good amount of guests which makes ride times lower across the parks. Now that Test Track 2.0 is down, we are seeing wait times increase around the parks.

We have just come back from visiting Epcot this morning, June 17th, 2024, and the park was not empty, but it certainly is not crowded either. So what we noticed was the ride times for attractions like Journey into Imagination, Soarin, Living with the Land, and Ratatouille, minus Spaceship Earth (which happened to be down most of the morning) which needs an overhaul, the times are way up.

  • Gran Fiesta Tour: 25
  • Frozen Ever After: 70
  • Journey Into Imagination with Figment: 30
  • Soarin: 40
  • Ratatouille: 105
  • The Seas with Nemo & Friends: 20

Take the Ultimate Test Drive

Cruise over to the gleaming Chevrolet Design Center to create your own virtual concept car. When you’re done, buckle up in a 6-passenger “SIM Car” and take it for an exhilarating spin on the test track.

Rev through rough terrain and obstacles along the winding circuit. Accelerate through straightaways, maneuver switchbacks through inclement weather, hug curves banked at 50-degree angles and scale hills up to 3 stories high.

Reach speeds of up to 65 miles per hour as you put your car through its paces. After each test, check the scoreboard to see how your vehicle performed!

After the Test

Make and share a commercial for your design, race your car again on a miniature virtual test or pose for a picture with your vehicle against a dramatic backdrop for a souvenir of your supercharged day.
