Tiana’s Famous Beignets at Golden Outpost are Now Available and are Delicious. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened yesterday at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and of course, there was a plethora of merchandise, food offerings, sweets, and snacks available. The long line of the day was at Golden Outpost in Frontierland for Tiana’s Famous Beignets.
Although we saw a version released back on Feb 1st, 2024, for Women’s History Month, and we have them a great review, were they truly beignets? They were like a croissant, a donut, and a beignet combined with powders sugar and strawberry dip. Yes, they were quite good. Furthermore, it was just nice to have them inside a park here at Disney World. But, I would argue, they were not truly Tiana’s Famous Beignets.
Yesterday, earlier than expected, at 8:45 we had already eaten our fair share of the new version of Tiana’s Famous Beignets. The new version is more of what I would think of as a beignet. Crispy outside, big air pockets on the inside, and a fluffy interior of doughy goodness! Served with powdered sugar, and a drizzle of honey.

Fair Warning: Go sit down and eat these! The sugar gets everywhere, and for those who are novices to eating a beignet here at Walt Disney World, Neutral! Be Neutral! Do Not Breathe in or Breathe Out when putting a beignet in your mouth! You will either choke when you breathe in the powdered sugar, or you will cover your family and friends in sugar when you breathe out. While funny, they may not find it so.
