Hallmark Channel star Rachel Boston has written her first children’s book, Christmas Miracles All Around, and it is now a Hallmark recordable storybook selling for $39.99. Rachel read the book to a packed room on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise 2026, and she even gave away free copies to kids under 12.
We were in the room, and when Rachel walked in, she was clearly surprised by how many people had come. She was quick to thank everyone, and you could see her passion and gratitude for this book the entire time she was up there. She read the book aloud three times during the session. Fellow cruise stars Jonathan Bennett and Jaymes Vaughan were there to support her during the reading. It was one of several moments we caught on board, along with Emilie Ullerup sharing the traditions behind A Danish Christmas.
The book follows a little girl searching for the miracles everyone talks about at Christmas. “People say miracles hide all around,” the story goes, and she looks for them in holiday baking, wrapped gifts, falling snow, a sled ride, a crackling fire and the songs of carolers. Then her family goes to church and puts up a star like the one the wise men followed, and she learns that “the true Christmas miracle lives in our hearts.” The cover shows that little girl in angel wings hugging a teddy bear, surrounded by a nutcracker, a stocking, a gingerbread cookie and a tiny Nativity scene.
Rachel told the crowd the book is personal. “To be able to see the actual book has been really incredible,” she said. “It was definitely inspired by my daughter.” She also talked about meeting with Hallmark in Kansas City and how much she loved working with illustrator Azusa Omura, a longtime Hallmark artist.
This is Rachel’s first children’s book, and she was proud to share it. She told the room she has written 12 children’s books in all and has sent six of them to Hallmark, and she is hoping strong sales of this one will help the others make it to shelves too. After one of her readings, she turned to the little girl on her lap and asked, “Do you have any notes? Any thoughts?” The answer was a double thumbs up.
Christmas Miracles All Around is an 18-page hardcover with Hallmark’s Voice Save Technology, so a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle can record their own voice reading the story for a child to play back again and again, even when they cannot be there. The recorder sits in the bottom of the book and runs on three AAA batteries, which are included. Hallmark recommends it for ages 18 months and up, and it is available now at Hallmark for $39.99.
You can also catch Rachel this Countdown to Christmas.
