Fandango is now selling the Rocky Staircase Popcorn Bucket in The Knockout Bundle, a $49.99 pre-order that includes one movie ticket to I Play Rocky or Rocky 50th Anniversary. The bucket ships to your home starting in October to celebrate 50 years of Rocky. Rocky 50th Anniversary is in theaters November 7 to 11, and I Play Rocky opens November 6 in select theaters and everywhere November 20.
What you get: One Rocky Staircase Popcorn Bucket and one movie ticket. This is the same steps bucket we told you about when Rocky’s 4K return was announced. It looks like the famous Art Museum steps in Philadelphia, with a little Rocky standing at the top. Popcorn is not included.
The bucket ships to your U.S. address. Fandango emails your ticket code separately. You can only use the code on the Fandango website or app, not at the theater box office. Shipping costs extra; you must be 18 or older, and there are no returns. You can pre-order The Knockout Bundle on Fandango.
Watch out: Your ticket code only works while your movie is still in theaters. Rocky 50th Anniversary plays for just five days, November 7 to 11. If you want to see the original Rocky, book early.
Swan Drive-In sells the Staircase bucket by itself for $39.95, plus a red I Play Rocky boxing glove bucket for $39.95. So the Fandango bundle costs $10 more before shipping, but you also get a movie ticket.
If you already plan to see either movie, the ticket makes this bundle a good deal. Just pick your movie and book it early. Find every new bucket in our Movie Theater Popcorn Buckets guide.
