Disney Publishing is celebrating 100 years of Winnie the Pooh by turning a New York City coffee shop into the Hundred Acre Wood. The takeover runs October 9 through 11, 2026 at Daily Provisions Manhattan West, just steps from the Javits Center and New York Comic Con.
Disney says the shop will get Hundred Acre Wood decor, honey-inspired treats and drinks, themed offerings, and what it calls a few sweet surprises. A selection of Winnie the Pooh books will be on hand too, which fits, since the host is Disney’s book division. All ages are welcome.
It is the latest piece of a yearlong celebration. In March we covered what Disney found when it opened its Winnie the Pooh archives for the centennial, and our Disney Consumer Products guide tracks the books and merchandise that have followed.
Daily Provisions Manhattan West is at 440 West 33rd Street, Suite 90. New York Comic Con runs October 8 through 11 at the Javits Center, so the takeover covers the last three days of the convention. The invitation is open to Comic Con attendees and anyone else who wants to follow the scent of honey off West 33rd Street.
The books are the reason Disney Publishing is behind this one. Its anniversary lineup includes The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook, Winnie the Pooh 100 Mindful Moments, and the Wonders of the Hundred-Acre Wood Treasury. A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh was first published in October 1926, which is why the party lands this month.
Disney has not shared hours, a menu, or prices. With Comic Con crowds a few blocks away, plan for a line and go early in the day if you can.
