Swan Drive-In has revealed a four-piece Scream 30th Anniversary collection, led by a Ghostface Opening Door Popcorn Bucket and a 20-inch Walking Ghostface Popcorn Bucket. Ordering opens October 9 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern, three weeks before the original Scream returns to theaters on October 30.
The door bucket is the one to watch. It appears to be the same design as the Scream 7 Ghostface Door Popcorn Bucket that AMC sold in February, now released under the Scream 30th Anniversary name. That bucket was the most popular piece of the Scream 7 lineup. AMC’s first batch sold out right away, and the chain reopened pre-orders for another run. You can compare it with the rest in our guide to every Scream 7 popcorn bucket.
Here is the full lineup:
- Ghostface Opening Door Popcorn Bucket shows Ghostface forcing his way past a chained white door, set into a black wall embossed with his mask.
- Ghostface Walking 20 Inch Tall Popcorn Bucket is a full figure in mid-stride on a red base, with a phone raised in one hand and a knife in the other. The popcorn sits in a compartment in the back of his robe.
- Bloody Ghostface Grippr Tumbler is a black textured cup with a raised, blood-splattered mask and a red straw.
- Ghostface Talking 12 Inch Statement Roto Plush has a fabric robe, a molded mask, and a knife in hand.
For reference, AMC charged $39.95 for its door bucket and $22.95 for its Ghostface Grippr Cup in February.
Nothing can be ordered yet. Swan Drive-In has opened VIP viewing of all four product pages ahead of the sale, and the access code is SCREAMVIP in all caps. The pages are up for the Opening Door Popcorn Bucket, the Walking 20 Inch Tall Popcorn Bucket, the Bloody Ghostface Grippr Tumbler, and the Talking 12 Inch Statement Roto Plush. Ordering goes live at 12:01 a.m. Eastern on Friday, October 9. That is late Thursday night for anyone staying up.
The timing lines up with the big screen. Paramount is bringing the 1996 original back to select theaters on October 30 for its 30th anniversary. Swan Drive-In often lists collectibles before the big chains show theirs, so we will be watching AMC, Regal, and Cinemark for their own Scream 30th pieces. If the door bucket is the one you missed in February, set an alarm. It went fast the first time. Ordering opens October 9 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern at Swan Drive-In.
