Disney Lorcana TCG had one of the most packed panels of D23 2026, and Ravensburger did not hold anything back. From a brand new set built around a city that never sleeps to the long-awaited confirmation of a digital version of the game, here is everything that came out of Friday night’s panel at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Hyperia City Is the Next Disney Lorcana Set
The headline reveal of the night was Hyperia City, the next Disney Lorcana TCG set, with a pre-release date of October 16, 2026. The name is a nod to Hyperion Studio, the Walt Disney Studios lot that operated from 1926 to 1940 and is where Mickey Mouse was created. The set introduces a new mechanic called ink drops, one-time bursts of ink power that both heroes and villains can use during play.
Ravensburger showed off five location cards for the set: Land of the Dead – Marigold Bridge, Merlin’s Shop and Smithy – Magical Market, Khan Industries – Greenway Landmark, Institute of Technology – Honey Lemon’s Lab, and Khan Stadium – State of the Art. Those locations sit across four neighborhoods, the Greenway, Old Towne Hyperia, the Marigold District, and City Center. Character glimmers shown at the panel include Minnie Mouse – Urban Visionary, Donald Duck – Taxi Driver, and an Enchanted variant of Mickey Mouse – Best in Town, a card that references the first words Mickey ever spoke on screen, “hot dog!” Reimagined Disney Princess glimmers and Pepita, the alebrije from Coco, also made an appearance.
Into the Inkdark Brings Collector Boosters and a New Villain-Focused Set
Set for release in the first quarter of 2027, Into the Inkdark shifts focus to Disney villains, with Hades taking center stage as players work to unravel his latest scheme. The set also debuts collector boosters, a new pack format with 12 premium foil cards each. Standard Disney Lorcana boosters are not changing, but every set going forward will include a collector booster option alongside them.
Collector boosters introduce a new card rarity called Illustrious, with only six Illustrious cards per set and just 23 serialized copies of each one ever printed. The first reveal, Maleficent – Biding Her Time, was illustrated by Kendall Hale and doubles as a callback to the very first Disney Lorcana card ever revealed, back at D23 2022. Collector boosters will be sold exclusively at Ravensburger Play Hub stores, the Ravensburger online store, and select Disney locations starting with Into the Inkdark.
Cosmic Quest Sends Lorcana Into Space
Ravensburger also gave fans a first look at Cosmic Quest, a set slated for spring 2027 that trades the Inklands for a galaxy-spanning adventure. Cosmic-themed glimmers were teased, including Ariel reimagined in an astrosuit.
A Digital Disney Lorcana Game Is Finally in the Works
The panel closed with the announcement fans have wanted since the game was first revealed at D23 2022: a digital version of Disney Lorcana TCG is officially in development for desktop and mobile. Elaine Chase, Ravensburger’s Head of TCGs, said the goal is to let fans enjoy the game’s artwork and storytelling wherever they are logged in, and pointed to the Lorcana community as one of the most welcoming in gaming. Beauty and the Beast Joins the Curator’s Collection This Fall
The next entry in Ravensburger’s Curator’s Collection line, which launched earlier this year with the Heroines Edition, is a Beauty and the Beast Edition arriving this October at select Disney locations. The timing lines up with the film’s 35th anniversary this fall. The collection features six new glimmers with artwork inspired by the film’s stained glass motifs, including Belle – Hidden Archer, Beast – Tragic Hero, Lumiere – Fiery Friend, Mrs. Potts – Enchanted Teapot, Gaston – Intellectual Powerhouse, and a “Be Our Guest” song card.
Books, Parks, and Cruises
Ravensburger also announced Disney Lorcana TCG: A Visual Guide Through the Magical Realm, a companion art book arriving February 1, 2027 and available for preorder at the Ravensburger Store booth throughout D23 weekend. Alongside it, D23 attendees got first access to Quest of Wonders: An Illumineer’s Lorebook, an in-world novel that expands the game’s lore. Every copy comes with an exclusive Pegasus promo card, and anyone who buys it during D23 weekend also gets a themed bookmark.
On the parks side, Disney Lorcana TCG is returning to EPCOT International Festival of the Arts in 2027, and for the first time ever, Figment will appear on his own Lorcana card as part of the festival’s exclusive lineup. Ravensburger also confirmed the game’s Collection Quests are expanding across the Disney Cruise Line fleet starting in 2027.

For fans on site, the show floor includes a virtual queue for the 2026 D23 Collection, a curated set of glimmers and artwork that also includes an early Hyperia City card featuring Héctor Rivera from Coco. Also available is the Winnie the Pooh – Hunny Wizard Premium Foil Playmat, timed to Pooh’s 100th anniversary. Competitive players can catch the live Disney Lorcana tournament on the D23 show floor, where 128 players are competing for the first invite to the Disney Lorcana Challenge ’26–’27 North American Championship.
