A U.S. Air Force Reserve flyover honoring America’s 250th anniversary is set to pass directly over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom on July 4, weather permitting. Disney confirmed the details in a community notice shared with neighbors and resort guests, and the moment will mark one of the more significant patriotic displays the resort has hosted in recent years given the milestone anniversary tied to it.

The flyover will be conducted by the 920th Rescue Wing, a U.S. Air Force Reserve unit based at Patrick Space Force Base just down the coast in Brevard County. According to Disney’s notice, the aircraft will pass above Cinderella Castle at approximately 10:30 a.m., then head to EPCOT shortly after for a second pass. Guests hoping to catch the moment should plan to be in position near the castle hub a little before the scheduled time, since flyovers move quickly and don’t linger.

Neighbors and Resort Guests near Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios should expect increased noise during the flyover.
