Level99 will open its doors at Disney Springs on Monday, June 29, with tickets going on sale June 22 at Level99.com starting at $29.99 per player. The interactive social gaming venue replacing the former NBA Experience and DisneyQuest building on the West Side has been one of the most anticipated additions to Disney Springs since it was first announced, and Disney now has a confirmed date to point to instead of a season.

The Disney Springs location will be the largest Level99 venue in the country at more than 45,000 square feet, built around 63 life sized mini games and challenges, more than most other Level99 locations offer. Guests will dodge swinging axes, crack logic puzzles, swing across platforms on ropes and race through obstacle courses in groups of two to six, with each game designed to last between one and four minutes and be replayed.
At the center of the building is a two story bar wrapped in glowing rings of neon light, visible from nearly every challenge room in the venue. The food and beverage program leans into Level99’s signature Detroit style pizza along with wagyu burgers, craveable snacks and rotating beers on tap, all made from scratch daily. More than 40 original art installations round out what the company is calling its most ambitious build to date.
The venue sits on the West Side near the Drawn to Life Cirque du Soleil theater and across from House of Blues, occupying the space DisneyQuest once filled before the building sat dormant under the failed NBA Experience. Level99 is also hiring for 150 entertainment, food and beverage roles ahead of opening.

Our Take: Disney Springs has needed a venue like this for a long time, something built specifically for adults that doesn’t require a park ticket and gives a group a real reason to spend a full evening on property. Now that June 29 is locked in, the axe dodging alone is worth setting an alarm for ticket day. We’ll be there opening week with a full report from inside.
