The Supergirl Lobo popcorn bucket from Snapco has just gotten its first official look, and tickets for DC Studios’ Supergirl go on sale this week ahead of the film’s June 26, 2026, theatrical debut.
Images shared in stories by @snapcollc on Instagram give us our clearest view yet of the Lobo collectible bucket, which features Jason Momoa’s Lobo sitting on his iconic Spacehog. This is not a traditional round popcorn bucket but a sculptural figure, and that distinction will be the conversation starter for collectors heading into opening weekend. This joins a growing lineup of Supergirl theater collectibles already in the pipeline. The normal popcorn tins and cups will be coming, with the Lobo on Spacehog figure clearly serving as the centerpiece of the collection. We are hoping for some more Kypto buckets, but haven’t heard anything as of this writing.
Supergirl is the second film in DC Studios’ rebooted DC Universe, starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El and Jason Momoa as the villain Lobo. It hits theaters and IMAX on June 26, 2026. The KFC x Supergirl Krypto Collectible Bucket has now been officially announced, featuring a sculpted Krypto the Superdog figure on a full KFC chicken bucket, with a rumored June 10 arrival date. Our Take: Our biggest question with the Lobo bucket is how much popcorn this thing actually holds. When you move away from a traditional bucket shape into a sculptural figure design, you often end up with something that feels more like a toy you display on a shelf than a vessel you actually fill at the concession stand. The Bowser Mini Cauldron held about 8 to 11 kernels and was clearly designed as a novelty collectible, priced and marketed accordingly. Lobo sitting on his Spacehog looks incredible, but whether this justifies counter space at the theater or becomes something fans grab and never open is going to come down almost entirely to price. If it lands at $32.99, it sells out fast and fans are thrilled. If it shows up at $45 and above, the collector community is going to have some real feelings about whether this crosses the line from popcorn bucket into expensive figure. We will be watching closely.
