Regal is bringing three collectible popcorn containers and a full merch lineup to theaters for Minions & Monsters, opening July 1. Check out all the Minions & Monsters theater collectibles as they are announced.
The headline piece at Regal is the Zoetrope Collectible Popcorn Bucket, a teal art-deco-styled chest with ornate gold legs that is unlike anything else in the theatrical collectibles space right now. It comes filled with a large popcorn. Joining it are two sculpted popcorn containers: the Irene Collectible Popcorn Container, which shows a Minion half-swallowed by a lumpy orange many-eyed monster, and the James and Goomi Collectible Popcorn Container, featuring a suited Minion clutching a small green creature. Both also come with a large popcorn.
Regal is also offering a Collectible Kids Combo, a 64oz Popcorn Tin and a 16oz Drink Cup, filled with popcorn and soda, plus a character topper of your choice from five options. Shoulder Buddies, magnetic plush pals designed to clip on and go with you, are available separately. Rounding out the lineup is the Collectible Explorer Light-Up Cup, filled with the drink of your choice.
All items are available at participating Regal locations while supplies last. Regal confirmed the drop with a tease on social media: “Bello…Minions & Monsters merch is coming soon to Regal.”
The Zoetrope bucket is the one to watch. The art-deco design ties directly into the film’s 1920s Hollywood setting, which means it is both a great display piece and a bucket that actually makes sense in context. If you are a collector choosing between chains, that is your answer.
