D23 Announces 25th Anniversary Event for Disney California Adventure. Disney California Adventure is turning 25, and D23 is celebrating with a special event on Saturday, February 7. The day includes a panel with Imagineers at the Disneyland Hotel and an optional dessert party with a view of “World of Color.”
The Imagineering Panel: At 3:30 p.m., current and former Walt Disney Imagineers will gather at the Disneyland Hotel to talk about the park’s history. They’ll cover everything from the original California-inspired designs to the addition of Pixar Pier and Avengers Campus.
Every attendee gets a limited-edition pin featuring Dinosaur Jack’s Sunglass Shack, a nostalgic nod to the park’s early days. Gold Members: $49 General Members: $59
World of Color Dessert Party: For fans who want more, there is a second ticket option that includes the panel plus a night at the “World of Color” show. This package doesn’t require a separate theme park ticket. D23 staff will escort the group directly into the park for the show and then back out afterward.
The dessert party starts at 8:15 p.m. at Paradise Gardens Park. It features cheese, charcuterie, and themed sweets like macarons and lemon cake. Drinks are included, and guests 21 and over get one alcoholic beverage. Dessert Party + Panel Tickets: Gold Members: $159 General Members: $169
Key Details to Know: Check-in: Starts at 2:30 p.m. at the Magic Kingdom Ballroom in the Disneyland Hotel. Parking: You cannot park at the hotel. You’ll need to use the Mickey and Friends or Pixar Pals structures and pay the standard daily rate. Characters: Those with dessert party tickets can meet characters at the hotel starting at 6:45 p.m. Seating: The dessert party uses communal tables, so you will likely be sitting with other groups.
